Would you give a 2nd chance at love after infidelity?

The last two entries were kind of "blah" because some responders had a hard time trying 2 understand what I was saying so here it goes one more time. I'll be using fake names so hopefully it'll be understood. I just want everyones opinon. So here goes..Sharon has been dating Richard for roughly 4 years. Sharon lost alot weight thru dieting. She told Richard that she wanted to go out & do things now that the weight is off. Richard didn't budge much. Sharon then met Spencer. They liked each other. Sharon approached Spencer saying that she was currently involved wit Richard but wanted to have fun.She told Spencer that all she wanted was a NO STRINGS attached relationship just for the summer. Her 3 rules to Spencer were, 1) not to lie to her 2) don't cheat on her & 3) don't fall in love with her. Spencer was game. They spent alot of time 2gether going places & doing things. Needless to say, 5 months later, he revealed to her that he had fallen in love with her. He expected her to call everything off but she didn't. She continued to date both men. Seven months later, she told Spencer that she loved him. She also told Spencer that she'd not sleep with Richard anymore. Not even a month later, she did! Spencer asked her how she cld do this after promising him that she woudn't. Her excuse was that she couldn't tell him NO! Three months later, she called it off with both men cause she didn't knw who she wanted. About 3 weeks after the break-up, she called Spencer, had him over for dinner & told him that she wanted to be with him but he had to understand that she was still gonna be friends with Richard. He was fine with it. Fast forward, 8 months later. Spencer lost his job but decided to go to college. Spencer had asked Sharon if he'd can call her through out the week since he lives over an hr away & she said yes. When he did call, she'd rarely answer. He expressed this to her & she told him that she doesn't like talking on the ph yet she'll talk to Richard (the EX boyfriend) 2-3 times a week cuz she has to. For the first 6 months he was in school, he can count on 1 hand how many times she actually answered. While in school, Spencer had a one night stand with a fellow classmate. Sharon didn't find out til bout 4 months after it happened. She broke it off with Spencer cuz he broke the rules of lying & cheating. Also keep in mind that during their courtship, Sharon would sex txt her Ex husband & send him explicit photos of her.He didn't like the idea of it & voiced his concern & all Sharon said was, "I know you don't understand but its harmless fun. Spencer is very remorseful bout what he did but what he doesn't understand along with many others is..how is his one night stand any different than what she did? She lied & cheated on Richard for 1 1/2 yrs before calling it off & cheated daily by sex texting her EX hubby. So I ask, what would u do if this was u? Would you give Spencer another chance? FYI..Spencer gave her everything. Sharon actually told him that he gave her more & done more for her in the time they were 2gether than in the past 20+ years when she was married twice and the last EX boyfriend. Sharons EX husband cheated & lied on her for many yrs til she left & Sharon vowed that she'll not be in that situation again but yet Sharon was the one that came up with having an affair.
