Sensitive matter about a young person's death?

I am an atheist, and this is what I think. We are conscious because our brains are functioning properly. Our brains are computers and our consciousnesses are computer programs. When our brains stop working (when we die), our "programs" cannot run and we lose consciousness forever. I do not think that your loved ones, whether they were believers or not, are suffering any more.
