Any opinions on my short story?

That's really good. That's really quite good. Original, fairly well-written, although I think two paragraphs that start "My hands nestled in my lap.." and "You look back up at me.." could use improvement. "cool as a cucumber" is a wicked cliche that I would suggest ditching.
